Pure Epic-ness from Ballymena, hey !.

JF is the product of a varied pool of influences: a youthful entity spanning the worlds of melody and aggression in hardcore and rock, formed as a release from everyday monotony.

Formed in summer ‘03 in Ballymena, Northern Ireland the band released demo ‘Miss. Fortune’ demo 6 months after formation. The demo despite being low-key collected positive feedback, receiving airplay as far as the US both on a local and state-wide scale whilst also appearing on BBC’s Across The Line.

After a year of on/off gigging all over the country the band settled to write songs more worthy of their live experience. 2005’s 6-track ‘The Distance Between Us And Nowhere’ received outstanding press and has carried the band through two years of live performances. A new recording looms large though. JF will be gigging steadily throughout the rest of 06 and early 07 until they enter the studio once again in May with the new disc set to be released in June 2007.
